When I was a kid my grandad, uncle and Dad hand milked a few cows. We each were allowed a gallon of milk a day after my grandmother separated the cream. I was taking our gallon to the house and got distracted. My mother found the bucket after it had set out in the hot sun all day. I think that peach tree died because of all the limbs that were worn out on me. To this day I appreciate that they loved me enough to try to make me toe the line.
