On 400 series roads, it's usually safe to run 20 to 25km/h over.(12-15mph). On a 2 lane road usually about 15 over. On backroads, there's no limits cause there are no cops. I've passed a cop going about 98 in an 80 on a hilly, somewhat curvy county road, I've a feeling he didn't have his radar on though, cause he should have caught me. Got one ticket 2-3 years go, going out of town in a 50 zone. 70 zone a few car lengths away. I'm not really sure why I was going so fast, still can't firure that out. 82 dropped to 29 over.(much better than 30 over.) I've gotten pulled once for hitting(not crossing) the centre line twice in about 10 miles at 12am. Guy thought I had been drinking. Got pulled over in town once while doing 5 under. Still not sure about that one. Also got pulled over a 2 weeks ago for coming out a parking lot that had a No Exit sign facing the road. Cop stopped to let me out of the lot(so I thought), then pulled me over to tell me I wasn't supposed to do that and told me that he was pointing at the sign.(which I couldn't see.) Should have occured to him that if he could see the sign I couldn't. I'm not impressed by the cops in this area, bunch of dim whits.
