Back in 1973 I got talked into a two week vacation driving my MIL's Cadillac to Fla. then the coast to La. for a few days then home. It was late march, national speed limit was 55 and I was eager to get home and finish prep for planting. Coming up Rte 66 through the five state corners, I think it was kentucky or Mo. that I saw a State Trooper going oppisite on 4 lane divided hwy. I had the cruise set at 65. I never said a word to that officer when He walked up to the side of the Cadillac and said to me: where ya goin in such a hurry, YANKEE BOY? Sometime it's just better to keep yer mouth shut!
