I am in north central NY and while we have a "health center" in town 6 miles away it does not have an emergency room type deal that is open 24/7. The nearest ERs are 30 miles away to the north or the southwest, the nearest one that has a good reputation among the neighbors who have been here longer is 45 miles south, but it is a straight shot on an interstate. I have never had to go to an ER for myself yet, for which I am thankful(though I did drive a neighbor to one once). Zach
