I would do like the other posts said,...use straps and a good loader to lift it. You may want to check your local laws or drive the back roads,..it is illegal to transport a full propane tank on a public road,(here in Michigan) since there is no safety valves or pressure relief valves on the tank. You being a private owner and not a Propane company transport vehicle may get a hefty fine if an accident happens.Just a thought.
