'66 Mustang that needed engine work. Turned out, the engine was fine, just wired with the wrong firing order. I tried to fix it, then took it to the local mechanic who tried for two weeks to fix it (and was so ashamed that he didn't charge me), then the guy from the farm next door was over one day and said "I bet it's just the wrong firing order" and he knew the correct order off the top of his head. We rearranged the wires and it purred like a kitten. Took him a minute and a half to fix it.
I got a good deal on it 'cause the first owner couldn't get it to work, and it sat in his yard for over a year.
