I remember seeing sundogs on a clear day when I was in college. It was about -15F, and I was standing outside drinking beer with my friend from Fairbanks. We were talking about the sundogs when one of the football players (from Alabama) that lived a couple houses over from us walked past. He looked at us like we were crazy, drinking beer when it was that cold. He did allow as how he'd never seen a sunset like that in Alabama, though. It was remarkable, a little frost in the air and three sunsets side-by-side.
