Store eggs a month old try 6-12 months old. Takes them a month or more just to sort the eggs in a ware house then ship them all over the place to another ware house where they can sit for a month or more. I worked at an egg farm years ago aid it took them a month to get a truck load and that was the only way they hauled them. Campbell's soup company got the hens when they where to old to lay and used them in there chicken soups
