And if you only need a tractor that big to run,say,a chopper and a chisel plow,but it's too big for the planter,grain drill,sprayer,haybine,round baler,grinder mixer and manure spreader,what's the point praying at the alter of the Deere and spending $30,000 for the same power to do a few jobs? Once the silo is filled and the tractor is just sitting in the shed the rest of the year,as long as the cattle are eating,it doesn't matter what put the feed there.
And as far as the whole "I can get parts for Deere",well good for anybody who says so. Mother Deere left some huge holes in her new improved dealer network though and I'm dead center in the middle of one. If you want to be broke down for a week to ten days,break something green and yellow around here.
