About 1,200 lbs empty. I lifted and moved mine about 10 years ago, about 1/4 full using 4520 Deere with ease. First I tried using a 950 Deere, and it lifted it, but was a bit much for it. A 950 is about 25 HP and tips the scales at about 3,300 with a loader and is NOT the tractor to use to lift and move a 500 gallon propane tank 1/4 full. 4520 is about 100 HP, tips the scales at about 15,000 with a loader. Someone mentioned that if your tractor can lift and move a round bale, it will probably do the job. Good bet.
