Round here we have 5 BTO's. All are family owned operations. One owns most of his land and only rents about 1/4th. Pretty decent guy who will not play cut throat games. Another is a pretty good family. They are the ones who do what they say and help out in the commuity when thye can. Broke down on the side of the road? They will be the ones to stop and see if you need help. Another 1 is OK but land hungery. You tell him he can't rent again and he gets real pizzy real quick. The other 2 will lie cheat and steal to get more land to include trying to low ball rents.
So you can see what makes the smaller guys and landlords angry. The one guy rented one place for years and never told the old guy who had moved into assisted living that the average land price had gone up by almost 2X. When he found out he is now renting to a different BTO.
