Big Time Operators. Basically a very large farming operation. That may or may not be still family owned and operated. Of coarse seems to kinda depend on your area of the country how many acres constitutes a bto. Ive herd guys on here talk about a guy that farms 2000acres as a bto and Ive heard guys say anything over 5000 constitutes a bto.Where I live the average farmer is around 12-1500 and big time operators would be around 6000+.
