Where you from?!! My grandkids can do things in math that just makes me shake my head. They can read in kindergarten and not just "see spot-see spot run". That's how I learned to read in the first grade back in the day. They can do some pretty creative writing also. I'm not so worried as you are about the next generation as I see good in my grandkids.
