I'll buy windows 7 after I can no longer find XP Pro. There are a lot of different places to find it. My current computer has a retail version of XP so I can transfer it to another computer. I understand that Microsoft has to keep upgrading to keep up with the competition, but they shouldn't discontinue their other OS's. XP is still loved by so many, but they're all forced to buy 7 or 8. Windows could charge a $100 premium for XP and still sell a ton of copies. The R&D is done on it. Any additional money now is pure profit.
