I have lived in this same house since 1980; and up till 2 years ago I would have told you that we did not have wild turkey any longer in this area because I have never seen one. Then 2 yrs ago I bought some turkeys and put them in the chicken yard. As they got older and could call a wild turkey with a load of poults in tow would come into the yard about once a week or so. We slaughtered the turkeys for the holidays and I have not seen the wild one since.
