You didn't give us enough info to give good advice here. It could be fixable depending on where it's broke and how you broke it. Also is it a front or rear hub. A different one is certainly the best way to go, but if you don't like that option you may be able to fix yours, but it will be expensive either way. Post a pic of it and an explaination on how it got broke and I may be able to help you.
