Simple answer is yes, no or maybe. You ask why I answer this way well there is more then one type of Sherman sold that fits the N series tractors. Some lower the speed some increase the speed some do both and then there are others that do other things odd. But for what you want NO IT WILL NOT WORK. Why you ask. Simple while it can lower you reverse speed it will also lower the PTO speed so the blower will not run fast enough to do its job. None of the N series tractor will do what you want very well if at all
