I buy lots of stuff from ebay, but I do an advanced search and use Buy it know. Like it better than bidding. I find things I can't find locally and usually get it free shipping and tax free.
This past summer, I took pics of my junk I haven't used in the past 20 years and listed it on craigslist. Made over $1600. Can't tell that I got rid of much, garage seems fill up faster than I got rid of things.
I'm perhaps one of the few who is a fan of both ebay and craigslist.
Found a JD gator on craigslist at a bargin $. Not a scam. Talked to the guy. Going to pick it up Friday.
