The bidding definitely goes both ways - we have run the gammit...
Paid $94 for our starter tank a year ago - but we were in it to win it, as we had never seen one up for bid before (and any that we had seen in junkyards were totally shot). We thought we paid a pretty hefty price for it - that is why seeing the one sell for $325 really surpised me.
But we got rear steel for our Regular at $200 (with local pickup, so no shipping costs) and felt that was a real fair price. And we just bought an extra E4A magneto for $13 dollars, which was really low priced.
