Decided it was time to replace the 10 year old Win XP, & the outdated desktop which is probably doomed for failure pretty soon. So I went out & had a custom built (nearly top of the line) full tower desktop with Windows 8 Pro. Also going from 32 bit - 64 bit. Have not plugged it in yet. Decided to throw the switch around midnight start of Christmas since it was 5 days late in completion, & it will just become a personal present to myself! Might not be on this website for a few days if problems take shape. With a computer... You just never know!
