I planned on going to the woods to load a couple of logs on my trailer to haul to the barn to cut up. Messed aroiund doing honey-dos, waited too long, frost melted and the top was greasy. Still I managed to get a few loaded without getting totally stuck. Headed for home about a 1/2 mile away, wasn't watching, ran over a limb and broke hydraulic pipe out of the loader cylinder. Fortunately there was enough oil left to tip the bucket and raise the loader about a foot so I could chain it up. got back to the barn, managed to get the broken piece out of the cylinder. But the threads are bit buggered up. I need a 1/2"NPT tap to straighten them. The local industrial supply is closed, may not be open Monday. Big box stores never heard of a pipe tap. There's a local hardware in a neighboring town of about 1,200. He was still open and had what I wanted at about 2/3 the cost of the industrial supply. I buy quite a bit of stuff there and he always seems to have what I need. Got to support those kind of people.
