WARNING: Slight bragging ahead. I was the class of 1980 and in the fall of 1979 we had a perfect season and won state in football. I was a starting wide receiver and in the state championship game, I caught a pass and hurdled over a guy trying to tackle me. The local photographer for the area paper got an excellent picture of it and it made the front page of the sports section. When I saw the picture, I was elated.....until I saw the caption underneath that gave credit to another player on my team. Oh well, at least my picture made it, if not my name. Good luck at state!

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
