12 hour days, lots of water breaks- and break downs- in perfect conditions and lotsa luck 10 acres an hour average with this operation sounds right. I bet there were more 6 acre an hour days than 10 or 12. 95 cents a bushel when a day's pay was one dollar... now that was worth farming!
