So sad. It just breaks my heart to think that ANYONE would hurt a child. But, it happens all the time.So Sad. I got to thinking about this and was trying to come up with a workable safety measure that could be used to protect our children at school. Would a total lockdown of our schools during class time be necessary?? Should we do that? Do we have to post a law enforcement officer at every school, armed and trained to respond to a situation? But, would he,she have the cojones to respond or would he, she hide in a closet and wait for backup?Someone has to come up wuth a workable plan before such a tragedy happens again. Gun bans, if they worked I would be all for them but time and again it has been proven that they DO NOT WORK!!
