I have several gasoline tractors that I use infrequently.
I keep the tanks full and start them about once each month. Upon shutdown, I shut off the fuel and let the engine use all of the gasoling in the carburetor, choking upon final stall.
I also siphon the fuel out of the tanks twice each year, run it through the car and refill the tanks.
