Worked on an old Farmall some years back, for a local gentleman, when it started having transmission problems. His family had a huge farm in the area in years past but had sold much of it off to a local small town over the years for a school, park, etc, etc. He told me they bought the tractor new back in the 40's I believe it was, and until it came to me was still all origional. Thing even had all the origional leather seals everhwhere I had to tear into. Until they bought it they had been plowing one row at a time with a horse or a mule. Said with the tractor they thought they were in high cotton because they could now plow two rows at a time.
