the way I do it is to move the mouse to the upper left corner of the text you wish to copyand hold the left mouse button down while dragging the mouse down to the bottom of the text you want to copy and release the left mouse button, then push the right mouse button and a menu will pop up click on copy, go to where you want to paste and right click again chose paste and your text should appear there at that time.
