starts,runs, idles great is not how you tell an engines condition. you need to know the oil consumption of the engine and do a compression check. i have seen engines with burnt valves start , run and idle. even if you go and pull 2 plug wires off they still start pretty good. i was going to suggest clutch disc worn out , but how can this be on 2 tractors at same time? if your just driving and tractor speed slows down and engine speed stays the same and you come to a stop has to be clutch slipping. like we are not getting proper description of whats happening.
