John, Back in the early 50's when I was 10 or 11, my Mom sat on a jury here in Schoharie county relating to a case where a man had boobytrapped his hunting camp with a shotgun because it had been repeatedly vandalized. As I recall one young teenager may have been killed and another seriously maimed when they tried to enter his cabin. He was found guilty of a serious crime but I can't remember exactly what it was. So.....I would never do that as much as it might be tempting to do. If you want to see frivolous lawsuits, you should look at the ones filed by inmates of the prison system. And.......their legal representation is paid for by us taxpayers. I think they may have tightened up on that tho, since I left the system back in '95.
