You do realize that whether it be farmers, bankers, dealers, etc. that there are individuals who record the result of every item at a typical farm sale? I have never heard of record sheets being confiscated at the end of a sale by the seller or auctioneer. If you look on Tractorhouse you can see auction results of a specific model of farm equipment whether it is from an individual farm sale or consignment sale from many parts of the US. For some reason a number of auctioneers (but not all) thinks they should be different. It just adds fuel to the myth there is a conspiracy by them to screw bidders.
