I hope she has a speedy recovery as well. We ride our horse in from the pasture all the time, with just a halter. Most of the time its fine, but if the other horses go blowing by on a dead run, it can get a bit exciting. My Dad is paralyzed from a horseback accident. Happened 30 years ago, on a young horse I had started. Dad doesn't remember anything, other then the horse started to tense up. Things can happen quick, whether horses, tractors, cars, or anything else. My thoughts on horses are... at least 1 of us might use their brain. And it usually isn't me.
