: : : My tractor was purchased from a neighbour whose father bought in new in 1954. As far as he knows, nothing was changed on it except for a 12 volt conversion. Here's the question: the serial no. is 70063, which should make it a '53 Jubilee. The emblem on the front though, is a '54 NAA : four-pointed stars around the wheat stalk in the center. Were emblems changed on Jubilees that didn't sell in 1953?

: : We bought a Jubilee in early 1954 and were given a new emblem by the dealer as a 1954 so that if we traded it,it would be a year newer.
: : Who new then they would become that collectable. I seem to recall a sticker under the top lid that said "NAA".
: : We bought it with a dealer installed hydraulic clutch with a lever next to the PTO lever (only 3 times as long) which gave it live PTO. I still have some paper work on it somewhere, but I never saw another on a Jubilee at that time or since.
: : Come to think of it, I still have that Jubilee emblem some place.

: I have a 53 also and it has the emblem you speak of actually i have 2 53 's but only one emblem but i like you dont know if its correct .Iwant to restor to 100%

I just looked at the original owners manual that came with our Jubilee and it only calls it an NAA and does not mention the word Jubilee any where in it but a picture on page 29 does show the Jubilee emblem. The book was published Sept. 1952.

Today's Featured Article - Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor. My Papaw had a 1954 IH Super A that he bought to replace a Cub. My Papaw raised "baccer" (tobacco) and corn with the Super A, but the fondest memory was of the sawmill. He owned a small sawmill for sawing "baccer" sticks. The Super A was the powerplant. When I was old enough (7 or 8), I would get up early and be dressed to ... [Read Article]
