The problem is that even if someone is restoring an old truck, they will likely not want to put an oil bath air filter on it with so many aftermarket particle elemnet filers available. If you were to go through all the work of restoring such a truck, would you want to replace the oil bath filter with a disposable element. I certainly would. The only way anyone is going to want an oil bath filter is if the truck is purely for show.
