Not exactly agreeing or disagreeing here, but Regardless what the government says, one should take the income for a family of four, and compare it to the cost of living in whatever area or city they live in. I live in Southeast Iowa, and do all right, but if I was to move to the Quad Cities 3 hours away, my income wouldn't be sufficiant to live on.
