This summer my wife put a plastic tarp over a corner of the kennel to keep the rain out of their food bowl. Over the summer, they have had a tug-of-war with what they can reach. Tarp got quite shredded. I went out to feed them last night and one of the pups--7 months old--had gotten his head in all the shreds and wrapped around his neck so tight I had to cut it with scissors. Scared the beejabbers out of me. Never again; plywood next time. Thankfully, he has been on a leash several times so he didn't panic too much. Learn something every day.
