since when do you need live pto.? I operate one with a Fordson Major.Set your dept, raise it slightly off the ground, start the tractor rolling, lower the equipment. You do not have to complete the job in one pass, next lower some more and start again.Works for me, it is 5 feet wide. We call it a Rotary Hoe.
