Why not just put a kit in the one you have??? All that usually goes wrong is the rubber cups wear/tear. There are an early and late reservoir but the kit is the same for both. It is #10 in the picture. Part # AL67034 it lists for $122.79. I have done many of them and never had an issue. Just hone the bore an clean it up real good then install the new plunger and boot.
Also the complete master cylinder is part# AL66874 that fits early and late serial numbers. The early subs to this number. Full list price is only $238.70 not $300. Don't know where you guys are getting these incorrect prices. Also one of the three local dealers has one complete in stock and all three have the rebuild kit. So common part here.
