I was 19, working on the home farm. Dad was disabled, I'm the youngest. Just finished dinner, 12:45, always had WCCO radio (MPLS) on. Sunday, came home from church, ready to go out to do barn chores when Ruby shot Oswald on live TV. I liked Kennedy but wondered if he would get re-elected with his spending/program plans. Year later I enlisted and had to serve under Johnson......who I had no respect for. Hard to believe that ambitious sob ever shed a tear in '63.
