When I had my dump truck I hauled material for the transition from dirt to road a number of times. Mostly they wanted erosion stone because it would hold the most mud. Sometimes it was crushed bank run because it was a lot cheaper. I did this for both subdivision road projects and for logging operations. On one road job we had not only the erosion stone but also a laborer with tank, pump and hose to spray our tires off.
