I was running 4th under at 1600 rpms and it runs easy and runs smooth, 4th over tends to pull it hard and smokes alot. It burns less fuel running 4th under, Running 4th over burns about 1/2 a gallon more an acre so its cheeper to run it in under. This tractor works better in 4th and 5th under than any other gear.
