I have a 2008 uplander myself and have changed the motor once and the second one is starting to go now. There is a design flaw that lets moisture into it and corrodes the motor itself.Getting the arm off was a pain and the plastic will be brittle. A mechanic at the local dealer said in the past few years he's done around 50 of the things and they don't last oem or aftermarket. Just watch the plasic....
