When I was a kid in the 70's we moldboarded everything. At that time, it was mostly smaller 100-200 acre farms. By the late 80's the BTO's were farming nearly everything with chisels, then discs, and now a lot of no-till. I only see moldboard plowing done on some vegetable farms now. Too bad, I thought it was one of the most fun field jobs. Wish we had taken ear plugs seriously back then.
