It could be done, but it would be time consuming and you would probably invent a few new words in the process. I realize that chains are kinda pricey, but if they are available for your tractor I would seriously consider purchasing a new set. Unless you use them a lot they will last for quite some time. I had a set for a Sears Suburban that I used to have and used them for plowing, etc. Never did wear them out.----- Just my thoughts.
