Hi John, there were two types of power steering for 444. 1) British built 444 had 2 hydraulic pumps, cascaded one behind the other. One pump for PS and the other for 3pt. The steering drag link was replaced with a hydraulic cylinder with an inbuilt control valve. 2) Crate shipped units to USA had 1 hydraulic pump with splitter valve and power steering was USA built hydro-static PS with hydraulic cylinder under front bolster.
