Local church needed a new roof install. So they held a fund drive to pay for it.
They approached one of the richest members of the church and asked him, Why is it you are a milionare but we rarly ever see any donations to the church from you? Would you please donate for our roof?
The man replied, you must not be very observant. If you were you would have noted that my sister has been very sick and her family has had a lot of medical bills pile up. My brother had a bad storm go thru his place and lost his house and all and had no insurance. And to top it all off my daughter has 4 kids and her husband died and has needed lots of help with raising those kids.
