John, My former Jr. boss's wife is a "special investigater" for Fulton Co. NY. She spends more time confirming animal abuse issues than, child abuse, and welfare fraud. There are way too many "bleeding hearts" out there, ready to condem, well meaning people, who try to rescue animals, and who become overwhelmed with the number of animals that are dropped of on their doorsteps, daily. Perhaps tsome of these bleeding hearts are the same people who dropped off their former pet there, because the animal cramped their lifestyle.
