First, let me thank you for your service. YOU are the reason we have the freedoms we have. People like you are not the ones being referred to as "on the dole". You earned every penny of what the government is sending you.
I have NO problem supporting our troops and especially those who suffered wounds (physical and emotional) and sacrificed for my benefit. My personal opinion is our veterans do not get enough benefits from the government.
The fact that at least some of my tax dollars go to people like you is what makes my tax burden bearable.
