I weigh in with one statment below being the escense. Assume true HP for each. (easy to doubt, but harder to test without a lab) The high speed engine is designed to make its HP for 30 seconds then go to 20% power. It can make the HP, but it must be on life support on a dyno after the 30 seconds. The tractor engine and its life support (built into the lube and cooling (and governor)) will produce its modest conservatively rated HP for 50 years. Jim
