Wonder what the Mennonites think about the situation?? No electricity, no electric stove or refrigerator, heat?? No government help? OH, just a normal visit to the Amish brethren. And the Mennonites and Amish will have a meeting after storm to decide which cleanup crew gets what area and the women"s meeting will have the cooking and nursing crews selected. Mormons and Church of Christ will be around also with gas engined generators, Salvation Army will be quietly taking care of homeless children, some injured. Meantime the DNC and the Womens Lib groups will be on TV screaming about laws needed to stop storms, free contreceptives for the women that can"t get to their normal clinics and vote for the Dems-- this last sentance needs the Sarcasm Alert!- but it seems close to real sometimes.
