When I see the GM bailout, the solar companies gov backed bankruptcies, The health care bill jammed down our throats I don't feel one bit guilty getting a couple hundred dollars back. How many people lost their retirement money due to GMs bankruptcy? But the union big-shots got their bonuses. There is a lot of solar and wind generators out there but the only way either will pay off is to make other resources so high you will be forced to buy into it. You could spend some of that money utilizing what we have and be better off. Until you can guarantee wind blowing 24/7 and sunny days 24/7 you still need backup energy plants so in essence you are spending twice for the same product.
